DG Episodes 3-6! Plus Halloween fun!

Brighton and I were Richie and Margot Tenenbaum for Halloween! Pretty epic! Her brother Whit joined us at the last minute as Chaz. It was a night of magical memories.

DEAD GRANDMA!! World Premiere!

I realized it's been forever and a half since I've updated my blog... Well now is a better time than ever, what with the presidential election coming up and all.

Anyway, I had a busy summer which recently morphed into an even busier fall! Around May I came back to my old stomping grounds at Yo Gabba Gabba for season four! It's been a blast working with old friends, new friends, special guest friends and everyone else associated with this show. You can watch some our theme day lunch time costume contest shennanagans HERE! I'll post some of my favorites later!

In August I packed my red suitcase and headed off to Silver Falls Oregon to shoot THE DANGEROUS ADVENTURES OF LEROY THOMAS! (My 30 minute short film!) There's a lot happening with the project right now that I'm really excited about! More updates on that later too! We recently became indieWIRE's project of the week! You can read the article HERE!

Finally! Last but not least... my webseries DEAD GRANDMA was finally released!!!!!! The first two episodes are up and you can check back every Thursday 12pm EST for new episodes being released now through Thanksgiving!

This is the big one, my thesis project and final farewell to Art Center! This story has been brewing up in my mind for the past few years and I can't even begin to explain how stoked I am to finally make it!

Bucket of Water!!

And just in time for summer!!

I directed a series of Saturday morning-esque commercials to be released with Dead Grandma (which by the way is still a thing and will be released on the internet AND television very shortly! That's right... Television! Stay tune for more news on that). Anyway, I decided to upload one of the commercials "Bucket of Water" in it's full length glory. I hope this is as fun to watch as it was to make!

Personal Space Invader

If I had side project (you know, from the band that I have right now?) I would call it "PERSONAL SPACE INVADER". We would only play electronic experimental noise and maybe throw in a few math equations here and there to spice things up.

The idea came to me last week when I was encountered by three different people in the hallways of Art Center. Each one of them stood awkwardly close for a casual conversation... only to move in awkwardly closer and closer as the conversation continued.

I tried several techniques to normalize the space between us, but as it turns out, personal space invaders are also NOT afraid of making rapid adjustments to get right back in the game! Each one of these personal space invasions ended in a surprise grand finale! One grabbed my hand, the other massaged my shoulders then felt my beard and the last one fixed my hair so it wasn't in my eyes anymore. Two students, one teacher and one very confused me.

Who were these people and how did they get to be the way they are? They seem to be living happy fulfilling lives. Maybe I could be one of them some day??

Anyways... for now I have my fake electronic side project. This would be the cover of our first EP.
